To every gesture of the dictator the faceless, formless crowd responds with a terrifyng syncronicity showing the audience how fragile the individual is in the face of power-games. It’s a masterful parody of the western genre.
The scenery, the sound effects, the movement itself is a tool of this ironic tone and reverse spectacle of all the characteristics of the genre, it manages to show how hilarious and disproportionate this world really is. (Nagy B. Sándor)
