Spring and summer full of events at M Studio

The performance Pappa mia, choreographed by Ferenc Fehér, will return to the home stage on March 16, and on March 26, the show LIFT, also choreographed by Ferenc Fehér, will be presented in Bistrița as part of the 2025 Dance Season event.
The show Six out of Seven, choreographed by Eoin Mac Donncha, will be presented at the end of the month, on March 29, during the Sepsi Theatre Showcase organized by the Andrei Mureșanu Theatre. Meanwhile, Urme de vânat (Traces of Hunting) will be performed again on March 17 (with English surtitles).

Between April 6–10, the cpmpany will tour Morocco: with support from the Bethlen Gábor Foundation and the Romanian Embassy in Morocco, they will present two productions in Rabat: LIFT and Echoes of Here, choreographed by Ermira Goro. This is not M Studio’s first trip to Morocco – in 2022, LIFT was presented in Casablanca.

From May 6–11 M Studio will travel to Ireland with the show Six out of Seven. The tour is supported by the Bethlen Gábor Foundation, and the production will be performed twice at the Townhall Theatre in Galway.

At the end of May, the company will premiere its new production, Dirty Dancing, created by Polish choreographer Eryk Makohon, choreographer at the Krakow Dance Theatre. The premiere will take place first in Krakow on May 25, followed by a performance in Sfântu Gheorghe on June 3. The cast includes four company actors: Deák Zoltán, Nagy Eszter, Polgár Emília, and Szekrényes László. This new production is part of the Beyond Front@: Bridging Periphery Creative Europe 2023–2026 program, supported by the Municipality of Sfântu Gheorghe, the European Union, and the Administration of the National Cultural Fund (AFCN).

On June 6 and 7, M Studio will travel to Győr, Hungary, where they will present LIFT and FIRE FLOW during the 3rd edition of the Duna International Theatre Festival. The season will conclude with another festival appearance: between July 1–5, LIFT will be performed in Pula, Croatia, at the PUF International Dance Festival.
