M Studio on tour in the Caribbean region

M Studio continues to strengthen its international connections, having once again been invited, after 5 years, to the prestigious EDANCO International Dance Festival in Santo Domingo, where in 2021 the company presented LIFT, a production choreographed by Fehér Ferenc. On September 25, the company will take the stage with DIRTY DANCING, a production directed by Eryk Makohon, choreographer of the Krakow Dance Theatre.

Imola Márton, the company’s manager, emphasized that participating on international festivals provides an important opportunity to build professional and artistic connections, as well as to increase the company’s international visibility. At the same time, a strong international presence allows M Studio’s productions to reach wider audiences in diverse cultural and artistic contexts.

After the Dominican Republic, the company will travel to Bucharest, where it will once again perform DIRTY DANCING on October 3rd as part of the BukFeszt festival. BukFeszt5 welcomes theatres and companies from Cluj-Napoca, Târgu Mureș, Sfântu Gheorghe, Oradea, Miercurea Ciuc, Satu Mare, Timișoara, Târgu Secuiesc, Odorheiu Secuiesc and Gheorgheni, presenting a programme that brings together a remarkably diverse range of stage forms and artistic aesthetics.

BukFeszt5 will take place in Bucharest from September 28 to October 6, 2026, at the “I.L. Caragiale” National Theatre, Odeon Theatre and Bulandra Theatre.

Meanwhile M Studio is preparing its latest production, day.dreaming, which is scheduled to premiere on October 29th. Taking audiences into the world of dreams, the performance intertwines movement and text through a visually oriented approach by independent Adepth Infusion artists Raul Hotcaș and Andrei Dinu.
