Lee in Soo - A first meet

Lee In Soo is the leader of EDx2, one of the most internationally known contemporary dance companies in South Korea. He graduated from the Korean National University of Arts in 2008, from 2010 he teaches there.

“Everything in my life is started by me. When I concede and admit myself as I am, that is the first day of my life.
Can I meet myself, totally preoccupied with my body on stage?”

With a thorough disregard for the pressure of the audience and performance, the dancer appears on stage with his most confident manner of expression. When he is dancing, he tries to escape the familiar pattern with his free improvisation.

His choreography won the grand prize in 2008 and the Spark prize in 2017 on the Seoul International Choreography Festival (SCF).
