La Ronde

The performance is based on the controversial play of Arthur Schnitzler, La Ronde written in 1897. By choosing characters across all levels of society, the play offers social commentary on how sexual contact transgresses boundaries of class. The performance explores the nature of corporality and unfulfilled desires of people, regardless their social status, the bitterness and emptiness that remains after fulfilling the immediate pleasures of the human body.
